Child & Babysitting Safety Syllabus
This course is intended for young people (ages 11 to 16 years old) providing babysitting and child care services, but may be taught to anyone seeking additional training in child care.
Note: Many experts feel that 14 years of age is generally an appropriate age to begin babysitting. However maturity, responsibility and the ability to react effectively in case of an emergency must always be considered, regardless of age.
