Prior to serving as a police officer with the New York Police Department, Angelo worked as a Paramedic in the cities of Mount Vernon and Yonkers.
Angelo discovered a strong interest in teaching and serves as the Medical Officer of his current Police Department. When Angelo is not on patrol he is responsible for training his fellow officers in critical life saving skills. His lessons are always efficient and effective, and bring real-world scenarios into the classroom.
In March of 2019, Angelo was awarded the Carnegie Medal of Heroism.
